Bio-statistics centre
The relevance of bio-statistics and evidence-based medicine (EBM) is constantly growing. Given the importance of acquiring and maintaining competencies regarding evidence-based clinical studies and trials, we cooperate with several researchers from Europe and the USA in the field of EBM and bio-statistics.
Our projects focuses to Intensive Care and Anaesthesia, however, we also operate in other research fields.
The centre aims at fostering Critical Care researchers’ scientific potential and helping to publish their findings. More specifically, the centre provides free advanced statistical support to those worthy researchers with bright ideas but lacking a background in biostatistics and methodological references. The centre specializes in meta-analyses and in the methodology of randomized studies.
