Simulation
Maieutics Foundation promotes scientific research in the field of simulation in healthcare. The project aims at the development of skills and competences in the medical field by means of simulation (from computer-based micro-simulation, to actor-impersonated patients, to task trainers, to high-fidelity simulation), in cooperation with the Italian Society for Simulation in Healthcare. The project aims to create a network of specialists for consultation and scientific and organisational support to those willing to adopt simulation techniques or learn more about them.
Maieutics Foundation promotes cooperation between operating simulation centres and favours the creation of new centres, it promotes the training of instructors, and increases awareness in the fields of academia and politics to favour the spread of health care simulation for education purposes.
